As a previous swim instructor, I love working with kids, so this project was right up my alley. Seeing talent at such a young age is a humbling experience, but working with child actors does come with its own hoops to jump through. This project required me to be on top of the legal side of things to ensure we were following everything by the book and that our actors felt happy and safe. We also learned that we had to be flexible with our schedule and shot list on the day of shooting to cater to the attention spans and needs of our younger counterparts.
